Title
Barratt's Sweet Factory in Mayes Road
Description
The main building of Barratt's Sweet Factory, Mayes Road, Wood Green. The site was previously home to a piano and organ factory belonging to Mr Ivory, trading under the business name Henry A Ivory & Co. He sold the site to George Osborne Barratt, who set up the famous confectionary brand Barratt's, and developed the site with buildings and factories to manufacture sweets. Barratt's moved to Hertfordshire in 1975 and the building lay derelict for many years. It is now home to office units.
