Description
View looking south-east showing a terrace of mostly three-storey buildings with ground-floor shops at 6-18 North Street, Romford. Number 6 is trading as, "Art Wallpapers", number 8 as, "Goodworths", number 10 as, "Bata" shoe shop, number 12 is a tobacconist with a sign for "Capstan" cigarettes above, number 14-16 is the Ministry of Labour & National Service and number 18 has a partial view of a sign ending in, "KLING". There is a long queue of people waiting at a bus stop and many shoppers can be seen. A pedestrian is pushing a pushchair. To the extreme right can be seen a greengrocer's market stall and barrow, where produce is on display. A lorry is parked in front of the stall with large sacks of potatoes stacked on it.
