Front elevation of Hainault Farm cottage, Hainault Road, Ilford. Brown brick, two-storey cottage built 1855, with a date plaque on the front. Part of Hainault Farm site on land that originally formed part of Hainault Forest. Hainault Farm was used as an airfield from 1915 and from 1920 was the site of a canvas waterproofing factory and motor repair shop. Locally listed with London Borough of Redbridge.
