Description
Front elevation of 2-18 Westmoreland Place, Pimlico, formerly Sussex Street South, and the side elevation of number 94 Lupus Street on the corner, looking north west. Thomas Cubitt developed Pimlico in the form of a grid, with handsome white stucco terraces occasionally mixed with mews behind them, and large garden squares. The Duke of Westminster sold part of the estate in 1953, and the whole area is now the Pimlico Conservation area. A three-storey terrace with basements, and parapet roofs. Casement windows to the first floor with cast-iron railings. Railings enclose the basement. Vehicles are parked in the street including three Minis.
