Description
View of Royal Arcade, Mayfair, towards Old Bond Street, with a pedestrian looking at one of the shops. The arcade connects Albermarle Street with Old Bond Street. It was built in c1880 and is Grade II listed, listing number 1266365. Within the arcade, the shops have two storeys, with curved bay shop windows and doorways with ionic columns in between on the ground floor and Corinthian columns on the first floor. Elaborate stucco arches connect these columns and support a glazed roof. At the far end is an arched window with a cast-iron balcony on the first floor. The shop at number 14 is called Leader & Co. Ltd.
