Description
A view of the front elevation of a terraced building at 10 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden. It has retail space on the ground floor and three floors of accommodation above. It is three windows wide and shares a balustrade with number 9 that runs across the roof parapet. Number 10 has R. Goldsmid on the ground floor. Two men stand in the open shop front surrounded by boxes of fruit and vegetables. A later plaque on the front of number 10 says that Jane Austen stayed there. Dating from 1767-68, numbers 9 and 10 Henrietta Street were Grade II listed in 1973; listing number 1230830.
