Description
67-95 Kingsway, Holborn. Block of six-storey and attic office buildings between Wild Court along to Great Queen Street. On the corner with Wild Court, number 67 has the entrance to a branch of Lloyds Bank Limited. Outside is a four spoke wheeled handcart and blurred group of men. The top storey has the initials S.H.B. on the wall above the balcony and above the roof storey there are ornamental railings. Numbers 71-73 carry in large raised lettering on the front, 'Benson's International Correspondence Schools'. Number 75 is the high pedimented entrance to the Kingsway Hall, with a large cupola rising above the roof and an elongated grid globe on the mast above. Numbers 81-87 are 'Windsor House' and 91-97 are 'Regent House' by Trehearne and Norman, built 1913. Many 'To Let' signs can be seen and an original central refuge with street light and bollards.
