Title
House in Avenue Elmers
Description
View of a large, four-storey double-bay fronted Victorian house at 20 Avenue Elmers, Surbiton. The front door has, at some point, been moved from the first-floor level to ground level but otherwise the property appears not to have been altered. In the rear garden of the neighbouring house, at number 19, can be seen a tall scots pine tree. The other neighbouring house at number 21 is a much smaller 1930s property, which can be seen to the left of the photograph. Number 20 remains in existence today largely unaltered, but number 21 has been replaced by a Victorian-style block of flats, built to look very much like its neighbour at number 20.
