Title
St Luke's Vicarage in Burton Road
Description
View of St Luke's Vicarage, 4 Burton Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, at the corner of Gibbon Road. This is a Victorian brick-built house on a corner plot, opposite the church it served. The church, which is Grade II listed, was built in the 1880s, and presumably the vicarage was constructed at the same time. The photograph shows decorative brickwork in one of the two gables, and that the house was surrounded by pollarded trees, a hedge and wooden fence. The property still exists and remains largely unchanged, including having the same fence and pollarded trees.
