Description
Front and side elevation of a three-storey detached house at 62 Ridgway, Wimbledon. It is situated on the north-east side of Ridgway and constructed in the 1860s. It was demolished and replaced in 1978 by a retirement housing complex named Jimmy Savile House after Savile who formally opened the complex. References to Savile have been removed and the address reverted to 62 Ridgway. The complex sits within sub area 15 of the Merton Council conservation area.
