Front elevation of a parade of shops at 33-39 Pound Street, Carshalton. At number 33 is an MoT and motor servicing centre with an adjacent filling station. At 35 is Seamans Television. In the windows are notices reporting that due to a fire, the business was operating from 24 High Street, Carshalton. Estate agent Quinton Scott of 11 St George’s Road, London SW19. Telephone 947 7966 have an All Enquiries sign affixed and there is also a poster for the Silver Dollar Country Music Club. 37 to 39 are buildings which have since been demolished and the site redeveloped. Number 37 is Park Ltd, Building Services Engineers also fire damaged and much of the roof is missing and covered with a tarpaulin. Between numbers 35 and 37 is a gate with signage for Clough (Croydon) Ltd. of Manor Road, Wallington. Part of number 37 is Grade II* listed, listing number 1357605. Number 39 also has a poster for Silver Dollar Country Music Club.
