Description
Corner view of Brambleshaw End, 38 Westcroft Road, Carshalton. It is a former gardener’s cottage with adjacent outbuilding for the Brambleshaw Estate, owned by the large Beynon family, many of whom are buried in Carshalton church. Brambleshaw End is Grade II* listed, listing number 1357635 and is within Sub Area G of the Carshalton Village Conservation Area. The mansion house was also sometimes referred to as Bramble Haw and was demolished in the 1920s.
