Title
House in The Terrace
Description
The Terrace, which runs alongside the Thames in Barnes in the Barnes Green conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames, has several eighteenth and nineteenth-century houses of exceptional quality. This view shows 31 The Terrace, a six-window wide eighteenth-century house that was Grade II listed in 1951, listing number 1262068. The exterior of the house is little altered today apart from some reprofiling of the boundary wall and the growth of a Wisteria, which now adorns the cast iron ornate balcony railing. An Austin Mini is shown parked in the driveway.
