Description
This view shows the frontage of numbers 18-22 Fife Road in the Christchurch Road conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames, partly obscured by their brick front boundary walls and ornate iron gates. At one time comprising a single property called Mooresfoot, built in 1872, the main house is said to have at one time been the home of the Morphy family of the firm Morphy-Richards. It was eventually split into two houses. The smaller detached house at number 18 was originally an apple store and stable block attached to Mooresfoot before it was sold off in the late 19th century. A Triumph Dolomite Sprint is shown parked in the road in front of number 18's brick front boundary wall.
