Redknaps Cottages in Ferry Road
This view shows part of the terrace of two-storey cottages, known as Redknaps Cottages, notably those numbered 13-23 Ferry Road in the Twickenham Riverside conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. Built in 1854, they are served by a pathway leading off a bend in the road and are listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit. Their entrances have added canopies of different styles and the front gardens are generously planted. Beyond, to the right of view, is the pitched roof of one of the garages in Ferry Road to the rear of the terrace of three storey eighteenth-century houses in Sion Road.
