Title
Redknaps Cottages in Ferry Road
Description
This view shows number 17 Ferry Road in the middle of a terrace of two-storey cottages built in 1854, known as Redknaps Cottages, in the Twickenham Riverside conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. The door and bay window shown are believed to have been added in the 1960s before the cottage was listed locally as a Building of Townscape Merit in 1983. There appears to be an anchor and chain among the items shown stored in the small front garden.
