Title
Cottages in Holly Road
Description
This view shows a row of two-storey terraced cottages on the north side of Holly Road at numbers 98-106. At one time they backed on to the works of the Poppe Rubber and Tyre Company Ltd in Sherland Road; the cleared site now a public car park used on Saturdays as a farmer’s market. The cottages have since undergone substantial remodelling including enclosed porch extensions, additional windows, and the addition of trees and shrubs. Although unlisted, they are within the Queens Road conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames.
