The terrace of early-eighteenth-century houses at 4-6 Parkshot, located in the Central Richmond conservation area of the Borough, was Grade II listed in 1968, listing number 1357756. During the twentieth century, they served as the entrance of the Salem Baptist Church, which occupied the site to the rear of these buildings until it moved to Windsor Road, Kew, in 1973. The chapel, warehouse, stable buildings, and rear extensions were demolished during the late 1970s and the front elevations restored to something more like their original appearance. This view is believed to show two of the unoccupied ground-floor rooms to the rear of the house, looking through a partition doorway with twin doors towards a rear window . The room beyond is thought to be in an extension to the rear of the house. The side of a marble fireplace can be seen to the right of view. Sheets of floor covering, possibly linoleum, have been partly peeled back, and a small area near the fireplace has geometric patterns. The wallpaper pattern suggests the rooms were in residential use. There is a cornice with linear moulding in the foreground room. A pendant light with a plain shade is suspended on a long cable.
