Norfolk Lodge in Park Road
Norfolk Lodge and its adjacent stable block is one of a number of substantial eighteenth-century houses on the west of Park Road, Teddington, located in the conservation area of the same name in Richmond-upon-Thames. Addressed as 26 Park Road, Norfolk Lodge is set back from the road, perpendicular to the line of the other buildings that face on to Park Road. Both the house and its stable block were Grade II listed in 1982, listing number 1180645. This view of its south elevation, generously adorned with wisteria and overlooking a neatly swathed lawn, also presents an impression of the scale and ornamental quality of the surrounding grounds, although an area adjoining Park Road has been redeveloped into a modern housing block.
