Park Road, Richmond, is a leafy residential road located in the St Matthias conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames, consisting mostly of substantial mid to late Victorian houses. This view shows most of those on the north-east side of the road from 2 to 20, all of which are listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit. A number of semi-detached pairs feature finialed Dutch style gables, but the detached one at number 2 to the left of view is probably the most impressive example. A mature tree in one of the front gardens dominates the centre of the view, the concrete lamp post in front contributing little to the scene, through has since been replaced by a more discrete type. Also shown parked in the road are a Volkswagen Beetle, A Renault 16, a BMW 2002 saloon, and a Reliant Robin car.
