Park Villas in Park Road
This pair of semi-detached two-storey Victorian houses at 37-39 Park Road Teddington, also known as Park Villas, were built in 1859. Number 37 is on the corner of Adelaide Road, which leads to Teddington Station and, like many houses of similar form and age in the roads between Park Road and the railway line in the Park Road Teddington conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames, they are listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit. Number 37 has been extended to its side and rear elevations and has been used as a general practice surgery since the early 1970s, probably after this photograph was taken. Also shown, parked in the road, are an Audi 100 saloon and part of a Ford Anglia.
