Park Lodge in Park Road
Park Lodge, Park Road, Twickenham is a Regency villa located in the Richmond Road East Twickenham conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. Originally it was one of three villas designed by LW Lloyd for the Richmond vintner George Topham, all depicted in the watercolour 'The Thames at Twickenham' by the artist George Barret in 1824; the other survivor is Bute Lodge, which was Grade II listed in 1972, listing number 1065364. Park Lodge is listed locally as a Building of Townscape Merit. This three-quarter view shows its frontage and its north-east flank, the entrance porch and above structure having since been remodelled with classical columns and stucco finish in keeping with the style of the rest of the frontage. A Ford Popular can also be seen parked in the driveway.
