Cottages in Park Road
Description
This view shows 2 Park Road, Twickenham, which is one of a pair of houses built back to back on the south-east side of the road after it was extended towards the Thames during the 1840s. These houses were originally named Wathcole and Easeby Cottages. Number 2 has since been divided into two properties. The pair listed locally as a Building of Townscape Merit and is in the Richmond Riverside conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. The taller building beyond to the right of view is Elsinore Villas at number 6-10 Park Road, also listed locally.
