Beaumont Cottages in Park Road
This view shows a group of four cottages at 19-25 Park Road in the Hampton Wick conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. Built c1850 by Edward Alfred Wright, they are said to have been named after his wife Sarah Beaumont James. Listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit, they appear to be largely unaltered today apart from some remodelling of the front gardens. The front of an Austin 1100 can be seen parked in the road, as well as the rear end of what is believed to be a well-used Commer van.
