Corner of Paradise Road and Mount Ararat Road
This view shows two pairs of the row of Georgian townhouses of Spring Terrace, Paradise Road, in central Richmond. They are in the Sheen Road conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames and were Grade II listed in 1968, numbers 1-2 under listing number 1180552, and numbers 3-4 under listing number 1357752. Number 1, partly obscured in this view by the trunk of the magnificent mature London Plane tree in its front garden, served as the Registry Office for Richmond-upon-Thames until 2015, during which time a number of celebrity weddings took place. It has since been returned to residential use. A Ford Zephyr and an Austin 1100 can be seen parked in Mount Ararat Road.
