Hampton Court House in Hampton Court Road
This view shows the north-east elevation of Hampton Court House, which overlooks Bushy Park towards the Diana Fountain. The front of the house overlooks Campbell Road and Hampton Court Green, across the Hampton Court Road from the Palace grounds. Built in 1757 by the Earl of Halifax, apparently for his mistress, and designed by the architect Thomas Wright, the building has had some nineteenth-century additions and alterations. It is now used by the Hampton Court House independent school. It was Grade II listed in 1976, listing number 1254053.
