Hotel and houses in Cardigan Road
This view shows a row of three-storey detached late Victorian houses with attics at numbers 21-25 on the south-west side of Cardigan Road in the St Matthias conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames, near Richmond Terrace Gardens. Numbers 23 and 24 are Cardigan Court. Number 25 appears in this photograph as the Warwick Hotel, though it seems to have returned to residential use having some minor extension work to its north-west elevation, losing some of the pineapple finials shown here. All of these addresses are listed locally as buildings of Townscape Merit. A Vauxhall Victor estate and a Triumph 2000 are parked in the road.
