Merton Cottages in Christchurch Road
Description
This row of cottages and the adjacent public house, The Plough, just out of view to the right of this picture, date back to the eighteenth century. They are located in Christchurch Road, East Sheen, in the Christchurch Road conservation area in Richmond-upon-Thames to the north of Richmond Park. They are also across the road from Percy Lodge, originally a hunting lodge for the Duke of Northumberland. This view favours numbers 44-48, which were Grade II listed in 1983, listing number 1358082.
