Title
The School House in Amyand Park Road
Description
The School House, now 22 Amyand Park Road, Twickenham, apparently predated the building of the adjacent St Mary's School c1861, the site previously belonging to Charles Manship Corben, a coachbuilder. This might explain the distinctive curved arches of the front door and wide ground-floor window, which appears to be an infilled passageway. Part of the school can be seen in the background to the right of picture. Both are located in the Amyand Park Road Conservation Are of Richmond upon Thames and are listed locally as Buildings of Townscape Merit.
