Title
Parkfield in Barge Walk
Description
Parkfield is a substantial Edwardian detached house on Barge Walk, Kingston upon Thames, which overlooks the river across to Kingston-upon-Thames and is on the perimeter of Hampton Court Park. It is listed locally as a Building of Townscape Merit and is located in the Hampton Court Park Conservation Area of Richmond upon Thames. Together with its neighbouring house The Wilderness, which is of a more Georgian style, it is thought these houses were originally used as Royal grace and favour houses.
