Title
The Cottage in Brewery Lane
Description
The Cottage in Brewery Lane, Twickenham, stood on the site of the railway sidings and St Mark's Nursery, adjacent to the former Twickenham Junction station, which used to be to the west of the London Road bridge across the railway lines. It is believed to have been demolished to make way for the Post Office sorting office, which in turn has been redeveloped as housing at Brewery Lane and Twickenham Wharf, and The Exchange theatre complex. This view shows the rear of the property looking southwards and shows the Engine Shed, which survived the redevelopment and remains listed locally as a Building of Townscape Merit.
