The Cottage in Brewery Lane
The Cottage in Brewery Lane, Twickenham, stood on the site of the railway sidings and St Mark's Nursery, adjacent to the former Twickenham Junction station, which used to be to the west of the London Road bridge across the railway lines. It is believed to have been demolished to make way for the Post Office sorting office, which in turn has been redeveloped as housing at Brewery Lane and Twickenham Wharf, and The Exchange theatre complex. This view is of the front of The Cottage, looking across Brewery Lane towards the west, so the nursery premises would have been behind the property. A commercial vehicle partially visible to left of frame.
