Most prominent in this view is numbers 2-8, incorporated into N. Courlander jewellers corner premises along with 55-56 George Street. Number 8 Brewers Lane was Grade II listed in 1983; listing number 1080864, as were numbers 2, 4, and 6; listing number 1080863. A period style lantern is suspend above the shop's sign. Beyond can be seen the signs of the Lantern Restaurant and The Britannia public house, which was Grade II listed in 1983; listing number 135054. A number of pedestrians can be seen walking and browsing.
