The grounds of 'The White House', 40 Broom Water, Teddington, taken before the house was remodelled and prior to the construction of Riverside Court in the adjacent cul-de-sac, River Reach. The River Thames is out of picture to the left. Blocks of flats of Bucklands Road can be seen beyond the trees, and beyond the house is the end of a row of 1960s 'Georgian style' houses in River Reach. Broom Water is in a conservation area of the same name in Richmond upon Thames.
