View of front elevation of Kingston Hill Place, part of Gypsy Hill Training College, Kingston Hill, Kingston upon Thames. Founded in 1917 for the education of kindergarten and primary school children. Its first principal was Lilian de Lissa, an Australian expert in education training. It moved to Kingston upon Thames in 1946 and in 1975 became part of Kingston upon Thames Polytechnic, later Kingston upon Thames University. The site of the college is now the University's Kingston Hill campus.
