Title
Boundary wall in Traps Lane
Description
Located on the corner of Traps Lane and Neville Avenue, New Malden, this is a seventeenth-century dark red brick wall, about seven feet tall with tapered flange and offsets. It is mostly obscured by trees and planting. There is a grassed strip of garden between this wall and a lower contemporary brick wall along Traps Lane. A "Coombe House Private Road 20 mph" sign stands on Neville Avenue. There is a lamp post on Traps Lane and an indistinct traffic direction sign. Wansbeck house is partially seen behind the boundary wall and trees. The boundary wall and the garden are Grade II listed, listing number 1299858.
