Title
Buildings in Union Street
Description
Front and side elevations of buildings at 23-40 Union Street, Kingston upon Thames. Posts are set into the pavement of the passage leading to Church Street. A Thomas Bros skip is on the pavement in front of number 40. There is a poster with the words 'Virjin', '26th March' and 'Greyhound' in a boarded window of number 40. Three figures are separately walking along Union Street. Number 40 has been demolished to make way for a paved area near a small shopping development. The site falls within the Kingston Old Town conservation area although the boundary runs down the centre of Union Street and the site of number 40 is excluded.
