Description
Oblique view of rear elevation of Holcombe House, The Ridgeway, Mill Hill. Grade II listed, listing number 1064845. Seen in the centre of this image, it was was built in 1775-78 for Sir John Anderson, the Lord Mayor of London in 1797, by John Johnson of Leicester. In the mid-nineteenth century it became the headquarters of the Missionary Institute and is now part of the Catholic School of St Mary's Abbey, whose chapel can be seen to the left.
