Description
An oblique view of Regent's Park Road, Finchley. There are few buildings to be seen, only a boarded up house in the middle distance with an illegible sign, and, behind it, the tower of Christ's College Grammar School, now Pardes House Grammar School. On the site of what are now apartments called 'Regency House' are advertisement hoardings. These are advertising cigarettes - Silk Cut King Size for 55p - 'The low tar cigarette' and beer. There is a London plane tree and parked in the road are an Austin 1100, registration YGK 505G, in front of it a Toyota Corolla, registration NMU 928R, with no wheel trims and signage on it advertising 'Gordon's (Driving School?)' and in the distance a Honda Civic.
