Description
A view of the side elevation of a house known as Wyldes Close Corner in Wyldes Close, Hampstead Garden Suburb. The house was designed by Raymond Unwin and Barry Parker, who initially laid out the suburb. In front is the Motor House, a single-storey, double garage with arched pedestrian entrance leading to the house, itself largely obscured by trees. Above the arch is a timber-framed gable end with brick infill and the inscription on the lintel "Wyldes Close Corner". Dating from 1912, Wyldes Close Corner and its Motor House were Grade II listed in 1996; listing number 1259436. The house is part of a group in Wyldes Close comprising Far End, Gates House and Wyldes Close Corner.
