Description
An aerial view of the Edmonton Green roundabout at the junction of Edmonton Green, The Broadway and Church Street, Lower Edmonton. In the foreground is a multi-storey car park which was demolished in the early 2000s as part of a wide-scale redevelopment. A multi-use municipal centre with shops on the ground floor occupies the site. The platforms of Edmonton Green station can be seen on the left. A number of buses, cars and vans can be seen on the road. To the right of the picture is the Cross Keys pub, which dated from at least the seventeenth century and was rebuilt in 1886. It was gutted by fire in the 1980s and demolished after 1988. The area between it and the railway line is occupied by housing.
