Wood Street near The Avenue
Description
A view along Wood Street, Chipping Barnet, from the junction with The Avenue, which joins from the right. The Avenue is divided by a refuge at the junction, on which sits a bollard. Wood Street is lined with mature trees on both sides. On the right-hand side is Ravenscroft Gardens. A bus stop and benches can be seen. The building visible through the trees on the left is council offices at 61 Wood Street, formerly a rectory and later redeveloped into Old Rectory Court, a residential block, which still exists. A car is passing the council offices and a bus can be seen at the bus stop.
