Description
General view of flats in Meadway Court, Hampstead Garden Suburb, showing the western wing. Grade II listed, listing number 1259617. Built in 1912 and designed by G.L. Sutcliffe in a Tudor revival style on a U-shaped plan with a central open space. There is a colonnade at ground level with a balcony above it, leading to a more formal style of building at the end. There are various dormer windows and a projecting side gable, apparently with heavy wooden balcony. The central grassed area is protected by white posts and has a hand-painted sign in it saying 'Meadway Court, Parking for Residents Only'. A variety of cars are parked including a Ford Granada, a Mini, registration CC 9999, and a Land Rover with GB plates, registration XXC 507F.
