A view of the front elevations of houses and shops at 34-56 (even) Hendon Lane, Finchley. Number 56 at the left, partly visible, is a substantial, three-storey, double-fronted building. It is five windows wide and also has annexes to both sides that are set back. It has trees in the front garden, which is separated from the street by a low wall, though the annexes appear to have white picket fences too. Beyond, at numbers 44-54 (even), is a terrace of six red-brick, three-storey properties with single storey projections for retail use. Each is two windows wide. A van and some cars are parked in the road and a number of pedestrians are visible. Built in the early eighteenth century, number 56 Hendon Lane, also known as 1-3 Park House, was Grade II listed in 1949; listing number 1359068. The shop buildings also still exist.
