Description
A view of the rear elevation of a semi-detached house at 15 Heathgate, Hampstead Garden Suburb. The houses are a mirror-image pair, each with a projecting gable end. They have two storeys, plus a third in the attic or the gable end. Over the ground and first floor windows in the gable end is a relieving arch design. The house has two rear doors to the garden. By a small outhouse are garden tools, a folding chair and other paraphernalia. The garden is planted with roses in a bed in the lawn and to the side. Built in the early twentieth century and designed by Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944), numbers 15 and 17 Heathgate were Grade II listed in 1965; listing number 1064894.
