Description
A view of the front elevation of a pair of substantial semi-detached houses at 136 and 138 Hampstead Way, Hampstead Garden Suburb. The houses have two storeys and are a matched pair. End projections forward present mostly blank walls save for a row of small windows just below the roof. They have well planted front gardens which are separated from the pavement by a hedge. They stand at the junction of Hampstead Way and Asmuns Hill, off to the left. A pair of artisans' cottages dating from 1907-1908 and designed by Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin, 136 and 138 Hampstead Way were Grade II listed in 1996; listing number 1259655.
