Description
View of the rear of the Superintendents Cottage at 818 Uxbridge Road, Hayes, left, attached to Eden Works, right, at 818 to 820 Uxbridge Road, looking south across a plot overgrown with weeds. The two-storey house is seen in a dilapidated state with boarded-up windows, and the adjacent three-storey works in ruins following a fire, both barricaded inside a temporary chain-link fence. The works have since been demolished and the site redeveloped with residential units, named Eden House, whilst the cottage has been renovated and converted to government offices (Department of Work and Pensions), named Adam House.
