The Grade II listed, listing number 1181763 (39 and 40), and 1358421 (41 and 42) buildings, are seen with rough rear walls, and scrubland in the foreground. The rear of the shops have since been extensively redeveloped and extended, the rear walls demolished and replaced with repositioned fencing, and the remaining land paved as the site of Grainge's Yard car park.
