Title
Houses in Eastcote High Road
Description
View of Deans's Cottage (left) and The Rosery, a pair of semi-detached houses in High Road Eastcote, looking north from Black Horse Parade, opposite. The two-storey houses, believed to date from the beginning of the twentieth century, are mostly obscured by the trees and foliage of the front gardens. The frontage is bounded by a picket fence, painted white. The metal gate is decorated with horseshoes of the neighbouring 'Old Forge Cottage', just visible on the right, and a telegraph pole, seen on the left. A Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 can be seen, parked on the paved drive.
