Description
Tow path bridge at Packet Boat Lane, Hillingdon. A humped brick bridge over the Grand Union canal tow path at Packet Boat dock. The dock was built for boats carrying passengers and parcels from Paddington in the early-nineteenth century. A group of boys on the bridge seem to be fishing. In the background, is a large tree and warehouse buildings. This is currently the Tomo Industrial Estate, off Packet Boat Lane.
